For this month’s “Corrosion College,” we pulled from our vault of oldies-but-goodies yet still informative-and-accurate with a reprint from a past issue of Metal Finishing magazine. The reprint originates from an article titled “Technically Speaking: Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors Offer Effective Protection for Processing and Shipment of Metal-Based Products” authored by Robin McConnell, President and Technical Director of Armor Protective Packaging®. While it originally appeared in the September 2008 issue of Metal Finishing magazine the information presented is still accurate and applicable today.
