ARMOR INDONESIA ESTABLISHES INROADS WITH ITS INDONESIAN ARMY

ARMOR WRAP® is employed to protect metal parts on Army vehicles.

ARMOR’s partner in Indonesia, Internusa recently secured a new customer, the country’s military. After two years of calling on the Indonesian Army with ARMOR product samples and information in hand, Internusa achieved success. The Indonesian Army is the land component of the Indonesian National Armed Forces with an estimated strength of more than 230,000 personnel.

“Acceptance of the technology of VCI is very rare in Indonesia – they are very old-version minded,” said Martin Chandra, CEO of Internusa.

Indonesia’s Full Army Force unit is using ARMOR WRAP® VCI paper and double layers of ARMOR POLY® VCI film to protect Army vehicles traveling from Indonesia to France. The vehicles travel by container in high humidity conditions and without the use of ARMOR products the vehicles were arriving with visible rust.

With this new success Internusa has opened doors to explore the use of ARMOR corrosion management products in other departments of the military. “For us, it is a great moral satisfaction,” Chandra added.
