New International Headquarters and More than 36 Years in the Business is a Success Worth Celebrating!

Success comes in many forms and on May 21st ARMOR hosted a customer open house to showcase the company's new international headquarters and share its success in making such a monumental transition. Attendees of the event included customers from the area, local media, a large contingent of ARMOR international partners who were onsite for the company’s global sales meeting, and ARMOR employees, family and friends.

Open house guests were invited to take part in guided building tours, a custom car and motorcycle show, a meet and greet with Frank Fritz of “American Pickers” on the History Channel, food, drink and a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony.

On display as part of the building tours were ARMOR’s more than 45,000 square feet of office, production, inventory, and distribution space. The building’s interior design and décor replicates a vintage industrial office feel – it is what some might call a “repurposed” look, one that is reflective of the company’s corrosion management product lines. A part of this decorating approach was the integration of office furniture, wall hangings, fixtures and storage cabinets that are a mix of old and new, which offered the opportunity to refinish pieces via the use of the company’s own Metal Rescue™ Rust Remover Bath and turn them from rusty to “office vintage.”

“Many of our furnishings are the result of a small investment in purchase and effort but through the use and effectiveness of ARMOR products we incorporated the look of old and new in an economical manner,” said David Yancho, Vice President, ARMOR and Workshop Hero™.

Capping the event was a formal ribbon cutting ceremony. Company founder and CEO John Holden, along with ARMOR President Robin McConnell and ARMOR Vice President Dave Yancho all took part. The ceremony concluded with a champagne toast. “When I started this company so many years ago I couldn’t have imagined a celebration like this. This new building is really a testament to the hard work of the ARMOR employees over the years and to the loyalty of our many long-standing customers,” said Holden.
