ARMOR'S INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER VISITS ITS SOUTHEAST ASIAN PARTNERS TO NETWORK, SHARE INFORMATION, AND CONDUCT PRODUCT TRAINING

Fernando Longinotti, International Sales Manager, traveled to India and Southeast Asia to meet with ARMOR’s international partners located in these areas. In addition, he conducted corrosion seminars with Tier One suppliers at a worldwide truck manufacturing company. The visit was both for information sharing and information gathering and allowed time for product training and education.

ARMOR India is continuing to develop both its operations and sales. The ARMOR India team has grown from 8 employees to 25 and the company has also added additional manufacturing equipment to its site. Under the leadership of Balaji Krishnamoorthy, ARMOR India has 4 distributors, each with its own dedicated sales representative and they continue to add new accounts and grow.

ARMOR Partners

The visit to Southeast Asia included the first Southeast Asia ARMOR sales meeting held in Bangkok, Thailand. ARMOR partners from Thailand (who served as the meeting’s host), Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam were present. The meeting allowed time for networking, a questions and answers session and a full day of training.

In addition to the sales meeting, time was spent with the two new ARMOR partners – Thu Pha Hau Corporation in Vietnam and Accuratech in the Philippines. The combined population of these new countries totals 201 million people and its natural environment of heat and humidity are ideal for corrosion. While these conditions offer huge challenges for those trying to protect metals from rusting, they offer many opportunities for ARMOR.
