ARMOR Hosts Global Sales Meeting This past spring, Armor Protective Packaging® was proud to host its 2015 Global Sales Meeting. Held May 18-22, 2015, international partners from more than10 different countries traveled to ARMOR’s headquarters in Howell, Michigan, to take part in training and information sharing.
“We have found so much value in bringing our international partners together. It allows time for product training that is hands-on with opportunity for questions and answers and equally as important it offers the opportunity for sharing – sharing of methods of operation, customer leads, success stories – all the things that create comradery and enhance a team,” said Robin McConnell, president, Armor Protective Packaging®.
Among those countries represented were Argentina, Czech Republic, China, Indonesia, Mexico, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam. While at the ARMOR headquarters attendees were busy with product training, procedures and processes to properly quality control products made in other countries, discussion on corrosion prevention tips for customers, technical training for part audits, and networking.
On site at the ARMOR headquarters for an extended stay in the weeks preceding the Global Sales Meeting was Shubo Wang. Shubo is an employee of ARMOR’s Chinese partner Waiteksin and she spent several weeks working in the ARMOR lab, partaking in technical training and learning about other aspects of the ARMOR business to further strengthen the relationship between both companies. Shubo’s time spent at ARMOR was designed to broaden the scope of knowledge about ARMOR for Waiteksin and to facilitate a stronger presence in the Asian market.
