ARMOR PRESIDENT SERVES AS CHAIRMAN OF NACE INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE

Armor Protective Packaging® President Robin McConnell has taken his post as the 2013-14 Chairman of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) Volatile/Vapor Transported Corrosion Inhibitors (VCIs) Committee. This NACE International Committee is charged with the task of studying and disseminating information about chemicals, products and applications of vapor-transported corrosion inhibitors (VCIs). McConnell, an established leader in the corrosion industry, served as the committee’s vice chair during 2011-12.

McConnell will lead this international committee’s efforts to discover new solutions for corrosion issues and establish a better understanding of VCI for improved effectiveness of applications and industry standards such as testing and performance for improved quality and consistency.
