MEXICO’S PARAUTOS CHIEF OF SALES CESAR NIETO INCREASES CUSTOMERS AND SALES IN RECORD-BREAKING NUMBERS

Cesar Nieto is the Chief of Sales for Parautos, located in Mexico. Parautos, founded by Placosa, exclusively provides corrosion management products. Armor Protective Packaging® had worked with the parent company Placosa for more than 10 years when in 2003 ARMOR formally joined in partnership with Parautos to bring ARMOR’s Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) line of products and its Metal Rescue™ Rust Remover Bath and Dry Coat™ Rust Preventative products to the Parautos customer base.

Nieto, who has been with the company for more than three years, currently covers the northern Mexico territory. As Chief of Sales, Nieto wears many hats – he works to manage new projects in his territory, secure new sales opportunities while also managing all of the company’s existing accounts and customer-relations functions. During his time in this position, Nieto has been a sales super star, he has increased sales by 400%!

Nieto started in the Placosa purchasing department and was offered a sales position based in central Mexico. After gaining a few projects and completing extensive training he moved to Monterrey, where he explains “the challenge is bigger and there is also the opportunity for growth.”

“Of the ARMOR product line, ARMOR WRAP® VCI paper is the material that I most prefer – it is a simple application, never fails, always meets the expectations of the customer and it is very high quality and passes all types of tests,” said Nieto. “Representing ARMOR and working with customers to solve corrosion problems, some of them quite severe, is a favorite part of my job.”

Nieto has his sights on an even brighter 2014 as he works with ARMOR USA staff to develop new sales strategies and expand training. “I would like to position ARMOR as the number 1 VCI supplier for all of Mexico,” Nieto added. Today, ARMOR products are distributed through Parautos/Placosa to more than 80 different clients throughout Mexico including Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Mercedes Benz, Nissan, Pemsa, Freightliner and many others.
