WORKSHOP HERO™ REIGNS WITH SILVER AND GOLD
Workshop Hero™, a division of Armor Protective Packaging®, and makers of Metal Rescue™ Rust Remover Bath and Dry Coat™ Rust Preventative, was the recipient of eleven (11) American Advertising Awards from the Mid-Michigan Creative Alliance, the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF).
According to the AAF, “The American Advertising Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes, and entrants of all levels, from anywhere in the world.” A panel of three recognized industry professionals from outside of Michigan adjudicated over 340 entries.
Among the 11 awards given to Workshop Hero™ by the Mid-Michigan Creative Alliance, the three gold awards were for the Frank Fritz Workshop Hero™ Van Design, Workshop Hero™ Promotional Toolboxes, and a Frank Fritz Workshop Photo.
The awards receiving ‘Gold’ designation advanced to District 6, Chicago, to compete in the next round of national competition. The result – Workshop Hero™ and its graphic designer Bob Patten of Patten ID, received a silver AAF award for Workshop Hero™’s promotional toolboxes. The silver award was significant in that it was awarded at a level of competition that included Chicago advertising giants Leo Burnett, Burrell Communications and Energy BBDO.
“We congratulate Patten ID and Gennara Photography for receipt of awards and thank and acknowledge both for helping establish and advance the Workshop Hero™ brand through first-rate creative executions,” offers David Yancho, VP of Marketing for Armor Protective Packaging® and Workshop Hero™.
