Workshop Hero™, ARMOR’s consumer division offering Metal Rescue™ Rust Remover Bath and Dry Coat™ Rust Preventative, will debut
its Metal Rescue™ on the shelves of 540 Pro and High-Volume Home Depot stores this month. Metal Rescue™ will be located in Home
Depot’s paint department where solvents, removers and cleaners are located.
Availability of Metal Rescue™ in select Home Depot stores offers customers looking to purchase the water-based rust remover from
a store, increased accessibility throughout the United States. While Metal Rescue™ and Dry Coat™ are currently available online
and in more than 400 stores in the U.S. and Canada, the addition of the 540 Home Depot stores broadens the scope and reach of the
product immensely.
“Metal Rescue™’s June launch in Home Depot is a positive step for both Workshop Hero™ and its customers,” explained David Yancho,
Vice President of Armor Protective Packaging®. “We are thrilled to offer our Metal Rescue™ Rust Remover Bath to home owners,
hobbyists, restorers and do-it-yourselfers from all walks of life-straight from the shelves of their local Home Depot.”
All Armor Protective Packaging® products are clean, safe and easy and the Workshop Hero division follows suit. Metal Rescue™ is
a safe, acid-free and non-hazardous rust-removing liquid and Dry Coat™ is a spray rust preventative that dries quickly and
without any tacky residue. Both products are water-based, biodegradable, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. They are clean,
safe and easy options for any “workshop hero” looking to remove rust from metals and prevent its return.
We have a full library of testimonials from customers who have used Metal Rescue™ and Dry Coat™ with great success. Take a look at this video testimonial to see, and hear, of one customer’s experience in de-rusting a lug nut.
