ARMOR CLAD was created with coaters in mind – no need to slow your roll – we get that time is money! No clumping, foaming, or swear words. ARMOR CLAD won’t build up on pans or rollers and will allow for quick clean-ups and changeover. This specific formula is designed for consistent coating weights on linerboard and will dry fast to avoid bottlenecks and headaches on the line. It runs like water (because it’s water-based) but protects metal parts like an ARMOR CLAD suit of, well… armor!
Uncoated corrugated is naturally acidic, and acid means rust. Additionally, corrugated attracts and retains moisture, emitting it into the package – another corrosion ally. ARMOR CLAD creates a pH-neutral rust busting barrier like nothing else. Metal parts not in direct contact with the corrugated? No problem! ARMOR CLAD vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) volatilizes from the finished corrugated sheet or box to protect metals whether they are touching it or not.
