ARMOR hosted partners from 11 different countries at its 2015 Global Sales Meeting held May 18-22, 2015. Partners from locations including Argentina, China, Turkey and the Czech Republic traveled to ARMOR’s headquarters in Howell Michigan to take part in product training, international success story sharing, technical training for part audits, and networking.
Armor Protective Packaging® hosted its third international sales meeting in May of 2013. ARMOR partners from around the globe joined for the four-day event that included an agenda of product training, research and development updates, networking and a plant tour.
Internusa Indonesia joined ARMOR’s list of Indonesian partners. Internusa offers ARMOR’s full line of corrosion management products to more than 50 customers who in turn serve more than 500 companies in Indonesia.
During a trip to Asia, ARMOR staff had the opportunity to work with more than 30 members of Thailand’s Royal Thai Navy. Royal Thai Navy representatives participated ARMOR’s technical training on best practices in corrosion management including ARMOR’s product line, its VCI nanotechnology and how ARMOR’s clean, safe and easy approach to corrosion management has historical roots as VCI was developed for the U.S. Military.
Armor Protective Packaging® made its debut in the international drag racing circuit with its sponsorship of two cars — a Mitsubishi Evo III and Suzuki Swift. Both cars were sponsored by ARMOR Indonesia and were modified for drag racing at an event held in the Sentul International Circuit in the city of Bogor on the island of West Java, Indonesia.
ARMOR welcomes a new international partner — India’s Adduco Engineering Solutions Private Limited. The company was established in 2008 and since May 2010 it has primarily focused on the sale and manufacturing of ARMOR’s VCI corrosion management products as well as cleaners and lubricants for stamping, drawing, forming and mass finishing compounds of the International Chemical Company brand. Armor Protective Packaging India as they are called is a professionally managed organization with a current staff of 16 who work with more than 150 accounts and have a presence in all key industrial geographies in India.
Robin McConnell, President and Technical Director of ARMOR, gave the keynote address at the 2008 China Conference on Packaging in Zhuahi, China. At the time, McConnell was one of two non-Chinese Foreign Editors of China’s “Packaging Engineering” magazine.
Armor Protective Packaging® hosted its first International Sales Summit in March of 2008. The Summit brought ARMOR representatives from around the world together to discuss strategic goals, participate in technical training and to learn about ARMOR’s product line.
ARMOR and Japan’s Nippe Trading became partners further strengthening ARMOR’s international presence. Nippe Trading is a division of global company Nippon Paint , who hosts a customer base of Japanese automakers including Honda and Toyota.
