ARMOR Hosts United Way Event

The Livingston County United Way welcomed area CEOs to ARMOR’s International Corporate Headquarters for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour and breakfast meeting. ARMOR hosted the event to support the United Way and to assist in bringing local business leaders together to discuss and share ideas on the importance of companies encouraging volunteerism and giving back to the community.

ARMOR’s consumer brand Workshop Hero distributed its second issue of its electronic publication, the Workshop Hero Nation Newsletter. This quarterly issue featured Workshop Hero Nation Ace Jay Chaikin, details on Barber Motorsports Park and its Vintage Motorsports Museum – a “Disneyland” of motorcycles, and a madcap recap of the 75th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Metal Rescue™ Receives Consumer Accolades

Metal Rescue™ Rust Remover Bath, offered to Canadian consumers through ARMOR’s Workshop Hero™ brand, received the distinction of “Tested for Life in Canada” from the Canadian Tire store chain. Award recipients have been evaluated by a 15,000-member Canadian Tire consumer panel. “Tested for Life in Canada” is Canadian Tire’s way of highlighting the best products of a given season as chosen by Canadians.

ARMOR Customer Service Rep Receives Starkey Scholarship

Courtney York, ARMOR Customer Service Representative, was awarded the 2015 Margaret Starkey Scholarship by the Howell Michigan Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation. York was nominated by ARMOR and received the scholarship for her self-motivation, creativity, customer service, leadership and self-confidence.

ARMOR & United Way Day Of Caring

As part of its ARMOR VALOR program, ARMOR employees gave of their time and their effort to participate in theLivingston County United Way Day of Caring project. This one-day community service event is held each year and in addition to giving ARMOR employees work release time to participate, ARMOR’s media/video specialist Steve Goers produced a Day of Caring video for the United Way’s use to recap the 2015 event and promote Day of Caring for future years.
