History with ARMOR: Steve joined the ARMOR Eradicator of Rust team in April 2018 as an account manager/sales representative covering Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri (and sometimes Nebraska and Minnesota).
What aspect of your job do you enjoy the most? “The most enjoyable aspect has been learning from the very knowledgeable and helpful folks at ARMOR. I’m one of the newer sales reps and didn’t have much sales experience coming in to the position, and didn’t know a thing about the VCI industry. Every single person at ARMOR has gone above and beyond to put me in a position to confidently serve our customers and find new opportunities to help manufacturers with their rust challenges. I send a huge thanks to the sales team and to everyone at the office.”
Experience before Coming to ARMOR (Past Jobs): Prior to joining the ARMOR team, Steve spent about 3 years working in a lab and in retail product development at Georgia-Pacific. Before that, he held several different jobs working as a lab tech at a cheese manufacturer and as a management trainee at Enterprise.
If you could trade places, who would you like to be for a day and why? “I don’t want to trade places with anyone, but I’d hang out with former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Steve Young for a day. Being that we share the same name I am sure that he hears comparisons and comments like ‘Oh, you mean like the ARMOR sales rep from Wisconsin’ quite a bit – it would be nice to see how he deals with it.”
Hobbies: Steve loves to play cribbage and watch Wisconsin team sports, and from what he says, it is generally with a beer, bloody mary, an assortment of cheeses, and some grilled meat topped with home-made sauerkraut.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would buy? “I would buy another lottery ticket — keep it rolling!”
What are you currently watching on Netflix? “I love to watch Ozark and my wife and I watch Rick and Morty and Stranger Things together while we’re waiting for new seasons of The Office and Archer on Loop.
