Workshop Hero is a Crowd Pleaser Wherever it Goes
Workshop Hero™, ARMOR’s consumer brand, maintains a product line of Metal Rescue® Rust Remover Bath and Dry Coat™ Rust Preventative Spray. These products have many uses, many applications for many different users but there are several target audiences that are particularly well-matched for the product line and that is where the recap of the Workshop Hero team’s travels begins.
Background
Workshop Hero’s sales and promotional efforts have become more sophisticated over time (aka, television/print ads, social media, YouTube videos). Customer purchase options have greatly increased (Home Depot, AutoZone, Canadian Tire and others). But, initial success of this brand was accomplished the old fashioned way: one customer at a time, person-to-person sales, all handled through attendance at classic car shows, vintage motorcycle rallies, and swap meets. The tradition continues — Workshop Hero set up shop at several recent events to bring its products and its message of “less work, more play” to the “people.” Take a look at the show highlights, photos, and videos provided below.
Barber Vintage Festival
Workshop Hero’s Metal Rescue is used and trusted by Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum and it is this connection that brought the two together for the annual Barber Vintage Festival. As part of this past year’s 12th festival, Metal Rescue was an official event sponsor, serving as the exclusive sponsor of the swap meet. The Festival is an annual three-day event held at the Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. Barber Motorsports Park covers 830 acres and is home to 1450 vintage/modern motorcycles and race cars housed in the museum, a proving grounds, and a 2.38-mile road race track. Each festival offers food, entertainment, the swap meet with hundreds of vendors, extended hours at the museum, motorcycle races, and a growing attendance that hit close to 74,000 in 2016. Workshop Hero photos offer a quick snapshot to the event’s highlights.
Specialty Equipment Market Association Tradeshow
Commonly referred to as the SEMA Show, this annual four-day event is held each year in Las Vegas and is the largest automotive specialty products trade event in the world. Workshop Hero set up its vintage workshop-themed booth, displayed a show-stopping custom-made motorcycle fabricated by Las Vegas local Christian Sosa of Sosa Metalworks, and worked the crowd to tell the story of Metal Rescue and Dry Coat to as many of the show’s estimated 60,000 attendees as possible. Check out Workshop Hero’s 66-second recap video that will make you feel like you are front-and-center and a part of the action.
Garage Brewed Moto
Workshop Hero was on the scene as a sponsor and attendee at this unique event that brings custom motorcycles, beer and Metal Rescue together under one roof at “Garage Brewed Moto.” Held January 28, 2017, in Ohio, this event invites attendees to come and see what is “brewing” in Midwestern garages as it displays the work of 50 of the Midwest’s bike builders that range from professional and large garages to the neighbor next door’s garage. Hosted by Cincinnati Café Racer Club, Garage Brewed Moto is held at the Rhinegeist Brewery in Cincinnati. Admission is free and attendees are able to stroll the brewery to check out bikes (some displayed on kegs), enjoy libations custom-brewed by Rhinegeist and of course learn of the benefits of Metal Rescue Rust Remover Bath.
