The ARMOR Company Name is 10 Years Old! ARMOR employees concluded their monthly company meeting with an ARMOR-frosted cake in commemoration of the company’s 10-year anniversary doing business as Armor Protective Packaging®. October 14, 2004, the company changed its name from SKS Industries to Armor Protective Packaging™, a name that more clearly communicates the company’s mission and product line.
