As COVID-19 picked up steam and the resulting quarantine caused companies to shut down, ARMOR jumped head first into the pool of online training. “We knew that we could provide value to our customers during their ‘down time’ by offering rust prevention and rust removal education and training through webinars,” said Ryan Gingery, Manager of ARMOR Sales. “It was an idea that we had been exploring long before anyone had ever heard of the coronavirus and we knew that the time had come to sink-or-swim.”
With the debut of its first webinar on March 20, ARMOR blasted out of the starting blocks and it has been “swimming” ever since. In the weeks since that first webinar, ARMOR has conducted a whopping 114 webinars and hosted more than 1,400 registrants. Webinar topics were intentional in their timeliness and relevancy and they included “Quarantine Rust During Shut Down – Simple Ways to Protect Your Metal Parts,” “Rust Happens – 15 Reason’s Why and How do Avoid it Like a Boss!” and “Don’t Let Rust Slow Down Your Start Up- Clean, Safe, and Easy Rust Removal.”
“ARMOR has always focused heavily on customer training and education and the webinar format was ideal,” added Gingery. “We have consistently found that once people understand how ARMOR VCI products work to prevent rust, as well as how use and apply them, that their outcomes and success rates increase.”
ARMOR has added three new topics to its list this summer, to check them out and to register for an upcoming ARMOR webinar or to review a pre-recorded session from the past, visit the ARMOR webinar page.
