This past September, Armor Protective Packaging® hosted international partners from around the world for its 2017 Global Sales Meeting. The event was held in Howell, Michigan, home to ARMOR’s international headquarters, and participants from more than 15 countries were in attendance.
Among those represented at the 2017 meeting were Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, Colombia, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.
“We have found that there is tremendous value in bringing our international partners together in one location. It allows us to provide product and technical training, but even more important it offers the opportunity for networking and information sharing, and the benefit of those connections last long after the meeting’s end,” said Fernando Longinotti, International Sales Manager.
The Global Sales Meeting included an intense, three-day agenda with discussion of ARMOR’s global vision; a first-hand look at ARMOR’s Operating System and the benefits it might offer to partner companies; introduction and training on new ARMOR products; as well as technical updates from ARMOR’s lab. ARMOR international partners also participated in hands-on training in the ARMOR lab and in a group activity where they worked together to analyze and develop solutions for various rust and corrosion problems.
“Being an active part of the information sharing between partners from around the world helps the ARMOR team to gain valuable insight to those potential opportunities and threats for ARMOR in the international market,” said Longinotti. “When we share our successes and pitfalls it highlights the commonalities that we all share, it creates a team mentality and encourages support and collaboration.”
