ARMOR’s New Zealand Partner H.O. Wiles Takes the Tradeshow Circuit by Storm

H.O. Wiles, an ARMOR partner headquartered in New Zealand, put the ARMOR name and product line “on the map” with a show-stopping custom booth at two distinctly different tradeshows in New Zealand.

The first was the New Zealand Motorbike Show, a show where all of New Zealand’s best bike builds and restorations are on display and where all things having to do with motorbike culture are celebrated. Behind the scenes, the H.O. Wiles team put together a display booth designed to catch the eye of the motorbike retail market.  Decked out in full Metal Rescue® product, signage and swag, the booth also included a bar made from pallets and roof iron, sofas made from ‘repurposed” old car parts, and a vintage, custom electric bike.

“We built this bike with bits and pieces that we found, purchased and borrowed,” said Ryan Bull, Business Manager of H.O. Wiles.  The result, pictured in the image below, is a mash up of 2 dirt bikes, a fat-tyre mountain bike, two World War II jerry cans and an electric scooter.

METAL RESCUE THEME BOOTH

“I am proud to report the bike does run – just not very fast – and it was a very popular draw card for our booth because there simply isn’t anything else like it.  We had a lot of people approach us to say how much they liked using the Metal Rescue product,” Bull added.

Next on the tradeshow docket was the EMEX 2022, an industrial trade show for engineers, manufacturers, and electronics professionals.  With less than two weeks to prepare, the H.O. Wiles team transformed their Metal Rescue-themed display booth to their first ever Armor Protective Packaging® tradeshow display.

ARMOR THEME BOOTH

“EMEX is the biggest show of its type in New Zealand and we wanted to use it as a ‘test run’ in preparation for several larger shows we are registered to attend next year in Australia,” said Bull.  “We were able to create awareness of the ARMOR name and product line as well as to gain some leads and sales.  All in all, it was a great success!”

“It is an awesome feeling to represent a product line and a brand that have so much positive sentiment attached to them,” said Bull.

ARMOR has partnered with H.O. Wiles since 2014.  H.O Wiles and Bar’s Leaks Australia manufacture and market some of the most trusted names in automotive products including the Bar’s Bugs windscreen washer.  The company has a head office and plant in both Australia and New Zealand.
